diSONARE is born from the concept of dissonance, referring to the complexities that nurture art and writing in their various genres and practices. We are an experimental editorial platform from Mexico City made up of a very small team of writers and artists. We focus on hybrid processes at the intersection between art and poetry, as well as translations, critical essay, and fiction. We print an annual publication in which various poets, theorists, writers and artists participate. We organize poetry, sound improvisation and performance events in Mexico and abroad. We have developed other projects and collaborations related to sound art, performance, independent publications, radio and activism. We are interested in thinking of publishing as a vehicle and catalyst to build experimental collaborations and nurture literary and artistic interculturality.
