Adelina Sarrión Mora

Adelina Sarrión Mora, doctor in philosophy from the Autonomous University of Madrid, has developed her teaching work as a Secondary teacher and also at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. The inquisitorial proceedings have been the starting point for some of her research to address issues such as sexuality, women and religiosity in the history of Spain. This is how her books were created: «Sexuality and Confession. The request before the Tribual of the Holy Office. Sixteenth-nineteenth centuries "(Alianza Universidad, 1994)," Beatas y Endemoniadas. Heterodox women before the Inquisition. 16th to 19th centuries "(Alianza Ensayo, 2003) and" Doctors and Inquisition in the 16th century "I (University of Castilla-La Mancha, 2006). She has studied the Spanish philosophy and theology of the Modern Age ("Philosophy, theology and power. The foundations of the Catholic Monarchy", currently in press at the University of Castilla-La Mancha). She is the co-author of several collective works, including "Eight thinkers of today" (Septem Ediciones, 2007), in which she has studied contemporary philosophy.
