Adrián Mac Liman

Adrián Mac Liman was the first correspondent for El País in the United States. Journalist from a very young age, she worked for international media such as ANSA (Italy), AMEX (Mexico) and Gráfica (USA). He was a war correspondent in Cyprus, witness to the fall of the Shah of Iran, special envoy of La Vanguardia during the invasion of Lebanon by Israeli troops and correspondent in Jerusalem for El Independiente. He is the author of several books on the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean: Palestinian Chronicles (1989), The Secret Plots of the Gulf War (1990), From the Refugee Nation to the Nation-State (1995), Via Dolorosa (1999), Palestine: the volcano (2001), The Chaos to Come (2002), Turkey: a country between two worlds (with Sara Núñez de Prado, 2004), The Arab Spring and its regional and international perspectives (VV AA, 2018). He is also a member of the Mediterranean Studies Group of the Sorbonne University.
