Alan Wolfe is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston University. In the spring of 2011 he was a visiting professor for the American government at the University of Oxford. He is the author or editor of more than twenty books, among which some as famous as The Future of Liberalism. He is a contributor to The New Republic, as well as major American magazines and newspapers, and chair of the Task Force on Religion and Democracy of the American Political Science Association of the United States.
