Alberto Mayol (Santiago, 1976) is a writer, sociologist and consultant. Throughout his career he has developed methodologies to understand political processes and generate predictions about their possible evolutions. He is a regular columnist in different countries and has advised large companies and governments. In 2023 he published The 50 Laws of Power in The Godfather (Arpa) where he expresses his knowledge in the theory of power.

Mayol is also an opera librettist, with works premiered at the National Opera of Chile, at the Venice Biennale and in other venues. He currently resides in Valencia (Spain) and is a Researcher at the Ortega-Marañón University Institute in Madrid.
