Alejandro Jodorowsky (Tocopilla, Chile 1929), tarologist, therapist, novelist, actor, director of theater and cult cinema (El topo o Santa Sangre), has created two therapeutic techniques that have revolutionized psychotherapy in many countries. The first of these, psychogenealogy, served as the basis for his novel Where a Bird Sings Best and the second, Psychomagic, was used by Jodorowsky in The Boy on Black Thursday. His autobiography, The Dance of Reality, develops and explains these two techniques.
