Alexánder Sequén Mónchez

Son of Guatemalan and Salvadoran mother father. He was born in Guatemala City in April 1977 and has been assistant legislative aide Congress of Guatemala, whose presidency was Coordinator of the Constitutional Reform Unit in 1998 in the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, FLACSO-Guatemala investigated on processes of militarization, public security, democracy and youth. For five years he was professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University Rafael Landivar. In 2002, he joined the United Nations Mission to Guatemala as Communications Officer, but soon after he was appointed Chief of the Press and Political Analysis. He wrote for elPeriódico between 1999 and 2003, and the Free Press Sunday magazine from 2004 to 2006, when she moved to Madrid. He currently works as a Policy Specialist to house America.
