Alina Bronsky (Yekaterinburg, Russia, 1978) spent her childhood in the Asian part of the Urals and has lived in Germany since her youth. Her first novel, Scherbenpark, published in 2008, was a bestseller, nominated for various awards and made into film and stage. It was followed, among others, by The Spiciest Dishes of Tartar Cuisine (Siruela, 2011), Nenn mich einfach Superheld (2013), Baba Dunjas letzte Liebe (2015), nominated for the German Book Prize, and Der Zopf meiner Großmutter (2019 ). Alina Bronsky's books have been translated into several languages in 15 different countries. When your life is a book is her first juvenile novel to be published in Spanish.
