Ana Maria Calera. She is a writer from San Sebastian born in 1926. She writes about "women's issues", foreign adaptations, collaborations in magazines, brochures and correspondence courses. These are the classic "feminine" themes for women who have to cook, sew, embroider, do the washing up, babysit, wash, keep obesity at bay, and keep themselves beautiful and kind, in short, all sorts of painstaking preparations to find and keep a husband, as some of the titles of his prolific work already say, p. eg, How to Catch a Husband and How to Find and Keep a Husband. In 1970 she published a book on Basque cuisine. In 1957 she was a delegate member of the Union of New Authors and in 1958 of the Association of Spanish Writers.
