Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy (Tamil: ஆனந்த குமாரசுவாமி, Ananda Kentis Kumaraswami) (Colombo, August 22, 1877 - Needham (Massachusetts), September 9, 1947) was an Anglo-Indian specialist in oriental art. He excelled in the study of symbolism, mythology, metaphysics and comparative religion. It is considered, along with Frithjof Schuon and René Guénon, as one of the most important representatives of the perennial philosophy.
