Andrés Moya (Valencia, 1956), PhD in Biology and Philosophy, is Professor of Genetics at the University of Valencia and has been director of Cavanilles Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology at the same university, of which he was a promoter. He has also been the Center for Astrobiology (INTA-CSIC) and the Center for Advanced Research in Public Health (CSISP) Government of Valencia, where he heads the Department of Genomics and Health. His scientific and intellectual activity is in the fields of genetics, evolution and philosophy. He has conducted extensive outreach and reflection on science and published various books, evolutionary theory and scope of evolutionary thought the core of their business.
