Doctor of Philosophy from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, currently a professor at the Autonomous University of Puebla (Mexico). He has been a fellow of KAAD, DAAD, Humboldt Foundation, Grant O'Gorman (Columbia University) and the Program for stay of doctors and technologists (Complutense University of Madrid-Santander Group).
