Angela Bianchini

Angela Bianchini was born and raised in Rome, where she lived until 1941, when, as a result of racist laws, she went into exile in the United States where, led by Leo Spitzer, she obtained a doctorate in Literature.
He returned to Italy in 1952. He has published several essays on popular literature and the history of women (VOCE DONNA, Frassinelli, 1996) and has worked as a scriptwriter and cultural programmer at RAI.
His narrative work includes LUNGO EQUINOZIO (Lerici, 1962), LE NOSTRE DISTANZE (Mondadori, 1965, Einaudi, 2001), LA RAGAZZA IN NERO (Camunia, 1990. Prize Rapallo 1990); CAPO D'EUROPA (Camunia, 1991, Frassinelli, 1998. Donna-Città 1995), UN AMORE SCONVENIENTE (Frassinelli, 1999, Internazionale Castiglioncello-Costa degli Estruchi, 2000. Premio Internazionale Il Molinello 2001) and NEVADA (Frassinelli, 2002) . Much of his work has been translated into English and French.
