Doctor of Law and Master in Political Science, Antonio Carlos Wolkmer is also a jurist, historian, sociologist of Law, philosopher and one of the pioneers of critical thinking in Latin America, where, as a professor, he has taught postgraduate classes in different universities, as well as in Europe, being retired holder of the History of Legal Institutions chair. of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He is also a professor of the Postgraduate in Law at the universities La Salle and UNESC (Brazil). He is currently a researcher level A-1 of the CNPQ (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) and member of the GT Critical Legal Thinking, of Clacso (Buenos Aires). He has published several articles and books, and in Spanish, the titles Introduction to critical legal thought (2003 and 2006), Legal pluralism. Foundations of a new culture in law (2006) and History of legal ideas: from classical antiquity to modernity (2008).
