PhD in Social Anthropology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and Master in Gender and Development from the Complutense Institute of International Studies (ICEI), she has a degree in Social Anthropology and a diploma in Social Work from UCM. Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Services of the UCM School of Social Work, she participates as a teacher in postgraduate courses at different academic, university and professional institutions and is co-founder of GENERA (Network of Feminist Women for Gender Equality in the development).
