Carles Buenacasa is a doctor in Geography and History and professor of Ancient History, Classical Archeology and History of Religions (ancient Christianity) at the Department of History and Archeology of the University of Barcelona. Trained at the universities of Barcelona, Lille 3 and Paris IV-Sorbonne, he has served as head of studies for the History Degree since 2016. Regular collaborator in the dissemination activities of various cultural dissemination institutions and author of numerous articles, both of a scientific and dissemination nature.
