Carlo Rovelli (Verona, 1956) is a theoretical physicist, and one of the founders of the so-called "quantum gravity of loops". He is a member of the University Institute of France and of the International Academy of Philosophy of Science. Responsible for the quantum gravity team at the Center for Theoretical Physics at the University of Aix-Marseille, he is the author of numerous scientific papers published in the most important journals in his field, he has published two monographs on quantum gravity of loops as well as books of popularization , published in several countries. He regularly collaborates in the Italian press, especially in Il Sole 24 Ore and La Repubblica.
