Doctor in Public Policy from The University of Chicago, with a Master's Degree in Economics from El Colegio de México. He is a specialist in state and municipal public finances, Political Economy, and evaluation of social programs. It has several academic and dissemination publications. He has collaborated for the World Bank, the United Nations Development Program in its chapter for Mexico (UNDP), the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (Coneval) and for the State of Guanajuato.
