China Miéville is a multi-award-winning author of numerous works of fiction and nonfiction, including the novels "The City and the City" and "Embassytown," and the short novel "This Census-Taker." He has won the Hugo, World Fantasy, and Arthur C. Clarke Awards. His nonfiction includes the illustrated essay "London's Overthrow", and "Between Equal Rights", a critical investigation into international law. He has written for several publications, including "The New York Times", "The Guardian", "Conjunctions" and "Granta", and is editor and founder of "Salvage" magazine.
