Christian Ingrao, born June 13, 1970 in Clermont-Ferrand, is a French historian. He was from 2008 to 2014, director of the Institute of History of the Present Time (IHTP), a unit of the CNRS, he is now research director. He is a specialist in the history of Nazism and war violence. He is currently focusing on the cultural history of Nazi militancy and German violence, particularly on the eastern fronts.
