Cecilio Tascio Cipriano (Latin: Thascius Cæcilius Cyprianus) (14 September 258) was a Roman clergyman and writer, Bishop of Carthage (249-58) and holy martyr of the Church.
Author important beginning of Christianity, probably born in the early third century in North Africa, perhaps at Carthage, where he received a classical education (pagan). After converting to Christianity was bishop (249) and was martyred in Carthage.
