Citlalin Ulloa Pizarro

Full-time Academic of the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the Universidad Iberoamericana. She has a PhD in Political and Social Sciences with a concentration in Sociology from UNAM. She studied the Master's Degree in Gender Studies in the Interdisciplinary Program of Women's Studies, at El Colegio de México. She completed a Postdoctoral Research Stay at the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS). She is part of the academic faculty of the Doctorate in Critical Gender Studies, a transdisciplinary and interdepartmental program, which she coordinated from 2017 to 2019.

Her research topics are: Social representations and cultural imaginaries of gender, around sexist, misogynistic and homophobic violence, present in public policies, actions and omissions of the State and in the behavior of political agents.
