Claudia A. Costagliola has a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from the University of Chile and a PhD in Hispanic American Literature from the University of Florida, United States. She faculty at Western Oregon University and Linn-Benton Community College in the state of Oregon. He is currently in the stage of studying and compiling material for his next book that will examine literary texts on AIDS by Spanish-speaking authors living in the United States, and their connection with the multiple liminalities (non-heteronormative, HIV + and immigration status, among others. ) that make them up. AIDS in Latin American Cuir / Queer Literature is her first book.
