Cristina Liceaga

Cristina Liceaga (Mexico City, 1974). She studied Communication Sciences (Intercontinental University), a Master's Degree in Political Analysis and Media (ITESM) and a Distance Master in Digital Journalism (University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain). She has taken literary creation workshops with writers such as Guadalupe Nettel, Beatriz Rivas, Ana García Bergua and Edson Lechuga. She was a finalist of the Italian Journalism Prize Claudio Accardi 2009 and winner of the third place of the first short story prize of the Endira Editorial (2014). She is the author of the Book Manual of Primerado Mothers (Icons Editores, 2011); of the story "Saudade do Mar" of the anthology butterflies of smoke (Editorial Endira, 2014) and the stories El Chaos and the garden of the Anthology Shadows of time (2015). Breaking point (Aphrus, 2016) was her first novel. She is the creator and editor of the Mexican Writers Website (https://www.escritoras.mx/), which spreads Mexican literature written by women.
