Dardo Scavino (Buenos Aires, 1964) studied Philosophy and Letters at the University of Buenos Aires. He has been a professor at this university and at those of Bordeaux and Versailles, and is currently a professor at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, in the south of France. Among his books, Current Philosophy stands out. Thinking without certainties, The Lord, the lover and the poet. Notes on the perenniality of metaphysics, Rebels and conspirators. Narratives of Argentine politics and The Dream of the Martyrs. Meditations on a Current War, with which he won the Anagrama Essay Prize and the Ciutat de Barcelona Prize in 2018.
