David Gemmell

David Gemmell (1948 - 2006) stood out as an author in the genres of novel history and fantasy. In his youth he had worked as a journalist for the Daily Mail, Mirror and Daily Express newspapers. He published his first novel in 1984 but did not abandon his career in journalism until the publication of his third novel, Waylander, in 1986. From that moment, he published 29 books with his own name, among which stands out "Trilogy warriors of Troy" , and a novel (White Knight, Black Swan) under the pseudonym of Ross Harding.
