David Servan-Schreiber

After practicing medicine and psychiatry, David Servan-Schreiber (1961-2011) turned to fundamental research in cognitive neuroscience. Later he returned to clinical practice, but without abandoning his studies on the neurobiology of emotions. For twenty years he lived in North America, where he founded and directed the Center for Complementary Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a columnist in prestigious media and worked as a volunteer in several countries, such as Guatemala, Kosovo and India.
