El Torres (Málaga, 1972) is one of the most prolific Spanish screenwriters in recent years, his work has been published in several countries such as France, Germany, Japan and the United States. In the latter, thanks to companies such as Image Comics, IDW Publishing and recently, through their own company Amigo Comics. His success in horror comics such as The Veil, The Forest of Suicides, Nancy in Hell, Drums and The Witches of Westwood, among others, has earned him the label of "Master of Terror". Still, his pulse has not shaken when it comes to changing his third and he has created the comic series Bribones and the psychological thriller El fantasma de Gaudí, with which he received the award for Best Screenwriter at the Madrid Comic Fair 2015 and the award for Best National Play at the Barcelona Comic Fair 2016. In 2017 he received the award for Best National Screenwriter at the Heroes Comic Con Madrid. Later, he published the Force Shirt that is being brought to television and Roman Ritual. Goya, the terrible sublime is the new horror story that he has just published with the painter Francisco de Goya as the protagonist. He currently lives in Malaga.
