With a degree in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Sociology, since Esther Vivas became a mother she has written numerous articles on maternity, childbirth and breastfeeding. She is the author and co-author of several books on the agri-food system and social movements, including El negocio de la comida (2014), Planeta indignado (2012), En pie contra la deuda externa (2008) or Supermercados, no gracias (2007). She collaborates as a political analyst in several media, is part of the advisory board of the magazine Viento Sur and was awarded in 2015 with a Biocultura Award for journalism committed to ecology.
