Felix Duque (Madrid, 1943) is Professor of Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Madrid since 1998. His research was initially aimed at anthropology, natural philosophy and hermeneutics. Today addresses the doctrines of German idealism, romanticism and postmodernism, and the philosophy of art and culture, myth and religion. His latest published works include Philosophy for the end of time. Technology and Apocalypse (2000) and The Restoration. The Hegelian school and its adversaries (1999). In 2003 he received the IX International Essay Prize for his work Jovellanos Good Europeans. Towards a philosophy of contemporary Europe.
