He has been visiting professor at the University Pompeu i Fabra (1994, 1995), the Center for Ethics, Rationality and Society, University of Chicago (1991) and the University of Wisconsin (1999). Felix Shepherd has excelled in his academic work, but also as a commentator (regularly publishes opinion pieces in the newspaper El País, Madrid) and its political and civic work. Indeed, it has been one of the signers of the intellectual platform Ciutadans de Catalunya, which gave rise to the political formation Citizens-Party Citizenship.
