Fernando J. Múñez had a taste for writing from a young age. At the age of fourteen he began his first novel, and his first film scripts with eighteen. After graduating in Philosophy, he began his career as a filmmaker in advertising while directing his first short films, completing his academic training in Cinematography in the United States.
In 2012 he directed the feature film Las nornas, shown at the Festival of Alicante and the Seminci de Valladolid. Castamar's cook is her first novel.
