Francisco Canals Vidal (Barcelona, 1922) Professor of Metaphysics. He studied the careers of Law and Philosophy, graduating in both. In 1952 a PhD in Philosophy with Honours at the University of Madrid and in 1954, in Law from the University of Barcelona. From 1958 to 1967 he was Professor of Philosophy Jaime Balmes Institute of Barcelona and in 1967 she became Professor of Metaphysics at the Faculty of Arts, which was commissioned in 1956. Plays the leadership of Department of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Barcelona and belongs to the editor of the magazine "Christianity." His thought takes place in two main directions: foundation of metaphysics and philosophical-theological reflection on history.
