Galeno

 Galeno

Galen of Pergamum (Greek: Γαληνός, doctors; Latin: Claudius Galenus1) (. Pergamon, 130-Rome, c 200/216), better known as Galen, was a Greek physician. His views dominated European medicine over a thousand years. It was given the name Claudio in the Middle Ages, but this seems a historiographical error was corrected in the Modern Age.
