George Sand, pseudonym of Aurora Dupin (1804 - 1876), thanks to its careful education, it was revealed at a young age as an intelligent, curious, creative, nonconformist and great talent for music person, painting and, above all, literature. extraordinarily prolific writer, his numerous novels and plays, there are the collaborations in press and an abundant correspondence. His dedication to writing did not prevent him from leading a life of authentic romantic heroine, passionate in their intense emotional and committed relationships in their political and artistic convictions, as well as with their own sex, which always prided despite having adopted a pseudonym male. He had relations with Alfred de Musset and Frédéric Chopin, and the latter spent the winter of 1838-39 with their children in the Cartuja de Valldemosa, Mallorca, Spain.
