Gimarco Manfrida has a degree in Medicine, Psychology and Sociology.
He has worked as head of psychiatry in the public services of Florence and has taught Systemic Relational Psychotherapy at the Universities of Florence and Siena.
Since 1988 he is Director of the Centro Studi e Applicazione della Psicologia Relazionale psychotherapy school in Prato and from 2010 to 2016 he was President of the Italian Society of Relational Psychology and Psychotherapy. He is a member of AFTA (American Family Therapy Academy) and EFTA (European Family Therapy Association).
His main interest is the clinical practice of psychotherapy, not only in therapeutic sessions but also at a distance with the help of online resources.
The psychotherapeutic narration is the translation and updating of his most emblematic work La narrazione psicoterapeutica: invenzione, persuasione e tecniche retoriche in relational therapy: Angeli, Milan, (2014).
