Griselda Pollock (Bloemfontein, March 11, 1949) 1 is a British art historian, 2 who has devoted much of his work to the study of the relationship between women and arte.3

She is the author of books like Old Mistresses: Women, Art and Ideology (1981), with Rozsika Parker, 4 or Vision and Difference: Femininity, Feminism and the Histories of Art (1988), May 6 among other works. He was also editor of Framing Feminism (1987), also with Parker7 and Generations and Geographies in the Visual Arts: Feminist Readings (1996) .8
