Born in Buenos Aires in 1965. After beginning his studies in physics at the University of Buenos Aires completed in the Balseiro Institute in Bariloche, where he also completed his PhD in Physics. After several years of postdoctoral work in Italy and Germany he returned to Bariloche, where he currently serves as professor of Balseiro and Independent Researcher of CONICET Institute. He has focused his career to the interdisciplinary area sometimes pompously called "complex systems", in which the tools developed for the study of physical phenomena apply to biological and social systems. He has published over fifty papers in professional journals, and made various contributions at conferences and workshops, as well as numerous working visits to major laboratories worldwide. Although his career has taken a different direction, maintains the fascination with the world of physics and astronomy in particular, especially as a hobby and outreach work alive.A preliminary version of Star Trek was a finalist in the international competition Science in Action (Spain, 2009).
