Carl Wilhelm Kahlo (Pforzheim, German Empire, October 26, 1871 - Mexico City, Mexico, April 14, 1941) was a German-Mexican photographer and father of the artist Frida Kahlo, who painted his portrait. He documented photographically important architectural works, churches, streets, places of interest, as well as industries and activities of companies of Mexico at the beginning of the century, so his work has an importance not only artistic but mainly historical and documentary.
