Born in Moreno, Buenos Aires, Hebe Uhart studied philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires. He worked as a primary, secondary and teacher university- and collaborated with the cultural supplement of El País of Montevideo. He wrote travel notes, chronicles characters and situations. He published, among other titles, the storybook "The light of a new day" (Centro Editor, 1983); the novel "Camilo amounts" (Torres Agüero, 1987); the story "Memoirs of a pygmy" (High Feather, 1992); nouvelle "Moving" (Mondadori, 1995) and "Guiding the Ivy" (stories; Simurg, 1997). By Adriana Hidalgo has published stories collected in "Turistas" and "From heaven home" and chronic "chronic Traveling" and "Seen and heard."
