Jacques Scheuer, a Jesuit, he studied philosophy in Belgium, theology in India and Indology in France. He teaches history of Asian religions, especially Hinduism and Buddhism, Catholic University of Leuven and one of the leaders of the Center for Interreligious Dialogue de l'Orient Les Voies in Brussels.
