Psychologist, educator and journalist. He specializes primarily in the world of teenagers and their social difficulties. He has worked for various government and a free professional in childcare, education, educational reform, care for people with problems associated with drug use, protection of minors, marginalization and social conflicts. Between 2004 and 2006 he acted as an advocate for the rights of children in Catalonia. He has researched and written extensively on these topics. The first of his books was The new Child and Youth Crime (1982). The latest is The place of childhood. Criteria for dealing with children today (2008).
