Jaume Vallverdú i Vallverdú (Tarragona, 15-10-1965). PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, lecturer in the Department of Anthropology, Philosophy and Social Work of the URV and consultant lecturer in the UOC's Humanities and Philology Studies. His lines of research converge around the study of contemporary religious and social movements. He has developed research projects in Spain on the Hare Krishna movement and in Mexico on Pentecostal Protestantism and processes of political and religious conflict. More recently, in Brazil, he has studied the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST).
