Javier Fernández Panadero (Madrid, 1972) has a degree in Physical Sciences and DEA in Telecommunications, works as a Technology teacher in Secondary Education.

Since his first book, Why is the sky blue?, he collaborates in radio, television, press, gives talks on dissemination and performs science shows for children and the general public. After Why is the snow white? and Max's World publishes How do I explain this to an extraterrestrial?, the fourth book in the popular science series Science for All, to which Experiments to understand the world also belongs. This has been followed, with equal success, Aproxímate and Como Einstein por su casa.
