Jean Christophe Goddard. Born in 1959, he is Professor of German and French philosophy at the University of Toulouse II – Jean Jaurès. He also chaired the Fichte Gesellschaft between 2006 and 2012. His first works focused on the thought of J.G. Fichte (1762-1814) 1, from which he translated several texts, and on twentieth-century French philosophy. He was president of the Internationale Fichte Gesellschaft from 2006 to 2012. He has been the general coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Euro Philosophie project since its creation in 2006. Since 2016, he directs with Marc Maesschalck the seminar "Think les décolonisations" common to the universities of Toulouse and Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL). His work currently focuses on decolonial and feminist critical theory, contemporary African philosophy, Amazonian counteranthropology.
