Jean Gebser, philosopher of transformations of consciousness, was born in Posen (Germany) in 1905, he lived a nomadic youth in Italy, France and Spain, to settle in Switzerland in 1939 he was a friend of Cernuda Lorca and translated for the first time German. Near the circle of Jung, taught for years at the Institute of Psychology in Zurich. He died in 1973 in Bern.
