He is the author of works such as The extraordinary sadness of the snow leopard (Almadía, 2015) and Do fundo do poço se vê a lua, for which he received the Machado de Assis Award from the National Library in 2010. He has translated works by Enrique Vila-Matas, Richard Brautigan, Mario Levrero and Roberto Bolaño.
