John O'Farrell (Maidenhead, Berkshire, 1962) began an early career as an actor at the age of ten and graduated in English Literature and Dramatic Arts. He is a multi-faceted and very popular character in the UK as a monologueist, author of comedy scripts for radio, film and television (he collaborated for many years with the successful Spitting Image program), journalist and political activist in favor of the Labor Party. He is also author of books of history and politics and of four novels; The last of them, The man who forgot his wife, has entered the lists of bestsellers in his country and will be published in twelve languages.
