Jorge Enrique Linares Salgado has a degree, teacher and doctor in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. He is a full-time B professor attached to the College of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of UNAM and a member of the National System of Researchers level II. His lines of research are ethics of science and technology, bioethics and contemporary ethics. He has received distinctions such as the National Philosophy Award from the Mexican Philosophical Association; the Prize of the Mexican Academy of Sciences for the best doctoral thesis in humanities, as well as the National University Distinction for Young Academics in the area of Research in Humanities.
