Antonio José de Almeida (São Paulo, 1949) is a priest of the diocese of Apucarana, Paraná. He received his doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and exercised the ministry of pastor in Arapongas, Santa Fe and Apucarana Cathedral. He was also diocesan coordinator of evangelization for over ten years and professor of theology at various institutes and universities. Since 2010, he joined the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (Curitiba), from where he researches and publishes in the areas of ecclesiology and ministries.
